Alatau city’s budget for Y2025 set at KZT4.4bln

Alatau city’s budget for 2025 was approved at a rate of 4.4 billion tenge, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Arken Utenov, Mayor of Kazakhstan's new city, said during an online briefing, that 819 million tenge (18.2%) will be spent on road infrastructure development. 1.3 billion tenge (29.5%) will be directed to housing and utilities infrastructure development, and 400 million tenge (9.1%) will be spent on social payments and support measures.

According to him, a project office has been established to ensure comprehensive and balanced development of Alatau.

In his words, the city retained positive socio-economic development dynamics in 2024.

In 2024, the city's budget expenditures were specified at 2.4 billion tenge, 96.9% of which was utilized.

Last June, at a meeting with Governor of Almaty region Marat Sultangaziyev, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set a task to step up work with investors to implement the Alatau City project.
