Aktobe to implement 250 investment projects in 2009

AKTOBE. March 16. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ Last year the volume of investments in Aktobe oblast made KZT 275 bln, Akim Yeleusin Sagindykov said on Friday session devoted to modernization of the regional economy in the light of realization of the President?s Message.
According to him, 250 investment projects including 54 industrial-innovative are planned to be realized in the region this year.
SNPS Aktobemunaigaz JSC plans to build an oil treatment plant worth USD 600 mln. Kazkhrom TNK JSC is to build a ferroalloys plant to the amount of USD 400 mln. Issues regarding construction of a nitrogenous fertilizers plant costing USD 1.5 bln is to be worked out. Among the largest investment projects is completion of construction of Kenkiyak-Kumkol oil pipeline worth USD 1 mln.
