Aktobe region and ERG sign cooperation memo
AKTOBE. KAZINFORM Governor of the Aktobe region Arkhimed Mukhambetov and ERG CEO Alexander Mashkevich met to have a constructive dialogue on mutual benefit cooperation, the akimat press service said.
The parties signed a memo of mutual cooperation for 2014. As earlier reported, last December ERG completed a deal to buy ENRC. As part of the memo signed, Kazchrome which is owned by ENRC will finance a number of important projects worth KZT 800 mln in the region. The Governor underlined the company's socially-oriented policy to forward significant means into social projects. For the past three years, ENRC Group of Companies allotted more than KZT 2 bln to fund construction of a tennis court in Aktobe, several residential houses, repairs works at kindergartens and schools.
