Aktobe border guards detain spirits smugglers

According to the press service of Aktobe border guards, a 23-year-old citizen of Russia who tried to smuggle 780 liters of vodka from Kazakhstan to Russian, was detained at "Zhaisan cars" border checkpoint. On the other day border guards of the same checkpoint apprehended a citizen of the Russian Federation, 35, whose Mercedes car was loaded with more than 1,200 liters of vodka. The total amount of smuggled goods is estimated at KZT 1.7 million. The investigation is underway.
