Aktau lyceum students win 50 medals of the Antalya academic competition

Organizer of the International Olympiad is an educational center with the support of EDUANT Municipality of Antalya.

Last academic year the students from Mangystau participated in the Olympics for the first time and won 12 medals. This year the team has had relevant experience. In the overall standings Mangystau guys were the leaders among 26 teams from six countries. The team has brought three Cups: for the first place in biology, geography and mathematics. Totally the participants brought 21 medals for the 4th place, 14 bronzes, 7 silvers and 8 golds in different subjects.

"Such a good result is the total merit of teachers and children, their parents, who paid for the trip. First, it is a good opportunity to test children's knowledge at the international competition with an independent jury. Second, participation in the Olympics deepened knowledge of English as the language to speak most of the tournament", said the director of the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum 7 Kazhet Bekzhanov.

"At the international level competitions the school from the Mangystau region was named the best. Pride in your progress pleases and gives confidence that such purposeful and intelligent representatives of the younger generation will be able to secure our future", said Lyailya Marabayeva, the widow of Nasipkali Marabayev, whose name has been given to the high school.
