Akims of Almaty and S Kazakhstan signed memo on direct supplies of agricultural products

SHYMKENT. March 12. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Memorandum on direct supplies of agricultural products from South Kazakhstan region to Almaty has been concluded today in Almaty.
The document signed by Almaty akim Akhmetzhan Yessimov and governor of South Kazakhstan region Askar Myrzakhmetov envisages a number of measures aimed at lowering prices for horticultural and meat products in Almaty markets by 20-30 percent.
Farmers who want to sell their products in the markets of Almaty themselves will be granted a rent-free market space. Supply of glasshouse production will begin in April.
