Aisholpan Nurgaipkyzy to compete in 2024 Eagle Hunting Championships of Kazakhstan

The 17th Eagle Hunting Championships of Kazakhstan, which was officially opened yesterday in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, is to see the participation of world-renowned eagle huntress Aisholpan Nurgaipkyzy, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
According to the country’s National Sports Federation, the tournament will feature hunting events with birds of prey such as falcons, eagles and hawks. The championships are to run through February 12.
World-renowned eagle huntress Aisholpan Nurgaipkyzy, who recently moved to Kazakhstan, will also participate in the tournament.
The Eagle Hunting Championships pursue the goal of reviving the centuries-long tradition of eagles hunting.
