Air temperature to soar as high as 46 °C in Kazakhstan

Severe heatwave is predicted to batter Kazakhstan with mercury reading + 40 +46 degrees Celsius, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.
Rains are expected to pound the west and north of Kazakhstan on June 25-26. On June 27 sweltering temperatures are forecast to grip the country’s north. Heat indexes will rise to +35+38 degrees in the north and soar as high as +40+46 degrees in the south, it said in a statement.
