Agriculture Ministry forecasts fall in grain prices

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ 6.2 mln tons of grain are still kept in the domestic storages while the producers have 2.8 mln tons of unsold grain, Vice Minister of Agriculture A. Yevniyev informed today.
Alongside, according to him, 7.8 mln tons of grain have already been exported. 1 mln tons of this volume was exported in May.
However, the world market faces a new trend now - grain production grows despite reduction of demand which, as the Vice Minister noted, "can lead to cheapening of grain"
