Agricultural fair of western provinces held in Astana
ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM Today the agricultural fair has started in Astana, where products are presented by agrarians from Aktobe and Mangystau provinces. This year it's the final fair in the capital. From the early morning hundreds of citizens have already visited it. It has also been visited by maslikhat secretary of the capital Sanzybai Esilov and akims of the two provinces who arrived as the heads of the delegation. In total, western regions have brought more than 200 tons of meat, fish, vegetables and dairy products, Kazinform refers to astana.kz.
Arkhimed Mukhambetov, Aktobe province akim:
"Today we're holding a fair together with Mangystau province. We've brought a lot of products: over 40 tons of meat, about 50 tons of vegetables, 12 tons of fish, pastry and other products and goods".
Fish products from Mangystau province is represented today in wide assortment. The province has brought 10 tons of fish. In their turn, manufacturers from Aktobe region have brought about 12 tons of fish products to Astana. It's worth noting that prices for the products are 10-20% lower than average market prices.
Alik Aidarbayev, Mangystau province akim:
"Peculiarity of our products is fish, several kinds of fish. There is high demand at the fair today. Of course, there is famous shubat. I think such shubat as in Mangystau can't be found anywhere".
In addition to agricultural products, the provinces present a concert program in Astana with the participation of creative teams from the two regions. Here are arts and crafts exhibitions: in 4 installed yurts there are crafts by handymen from Aktobe city, Aitekebiy, Mugalzhar and Algin districts.

"I'd like to say that both Aktobe and Mangystau provinces are presented very well. There is wide range of goods. Peculiarity of this exhibition is folk arts and crafts, good prices and performers".
Exhibition of the presented western provinces will be held for two days. Let us recall, this fair is the final fair this year.
