Affordable Housing 2020 provides 40 thousand people with housing
ASTANA. March 6. KAZINFORM Under the second dimension of the new program "Affordable Housing 2020" on construction of lease housing will be included several categories of citizens, Chairman of the Agency for Construction and Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Serik Nokin said at the Government's meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, among the persons on the affordable housing waiting list will be participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, socially vulnerable groups (11 categories), officials, workers of budget organizations, soldiers.
There will be built housing of the 4th class comfort. The cost for one square meter will be KZT 80 thousand (not including utilities and seismic intensity of the region).
In Astana construction cost of a square meters will not exceed KZT 120 000 per 1 square meter (not including utilities).
"In case of exceeding the fixed value, the difference in price will be reimbursed by the local budget", S. Nokin said.
Besides, Nokin noted that taking into account the social significance of this dimension, financing for the draft program in 2012 will be increased from KZT 10 to 20 billion.
Totally in the period of 2012 to 2020 about 40 thousand of persons on the affordable housing waiting list will be provided with housing.
