Adoptive families in Kazakhstan to receive one-time financial aid

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Adoptive families in Kazakhstan will receive one-time payment in the amount of 75 monthly calculation indices starting from January 2015, chairperson of the Committee for Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zabira Orazaliyeva announced at the Thursday press briefing of the Central Communications Service.
"Starting from January 2015, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who adopted a child are eligible for one-time cash payment in the amount of nearly 150,000 tenge," she said. According to the ministry, presently there are 33,680 orphans and children left without parental care in Kazakhstan.
