ADB annual meeting in Astana to join 3000 delegates
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 47th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank, which will be held in Astana May 2-5, is expected to be attended by more than three thousand delegates, this has been announced today at the Central Communications Service by the Chairman of "Institute of Economic Research" JSC Maksat Muhanov.
"It was assumed that more than three thousand delegates from various countries will partake in the event. More than 25 different events will be carried out in the framework of the summit. The events will be attended by the representatives of international financial institutions, small and medium-sized businesses and non-governmental organizations from 67 member countries", said M.Muhanov. According to his words, the main theme is "The Silk Road: connecting Asia with changing world." The subject was proposed by the Government of Kazakhstan, which took into account the growing potential of Kazakhstan, as well as the historical role of the country in the development of inter-regional cooperation.
