Actions of Kazakhstan's leadership directed to society consolidation and citizens' relationships strengthening - Warsaw
RSAW. October 7. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ More than 100 different nationalities live in dynamically developing Kazakhstan. Thanks to the conditions created by Kazakhstan's leadership steady consolidation of society and strengthening of relationships of all citizens, regardless of nationality and religion has seen in the country regardless of nationality and confession.
Representative of the Public Fund "Centre of the local self-government" Oleg Chernyshov has said at a special session dedicated to the issues of tolerance and non-discrimination in the OSCE region within the OSCE Review Conference in Warsaw.
"The Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's policy in the field of interfaith and intercultural concord is directed to the union of all citizens and prevention of the facts of manifesting racism, xenophobia and discrimination, which, in its turn, is a guarantee of our security, peace and stable development," the Kazakh expert said.
O.Chernyshov informed the international community of the role of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan in ensuring interethnic concord in the country.
"The Assembly's establishment is aimed at formation and dissemination of ideas of spiritual unity, strengthening of friendship of peoples and interethnic concord, ensuring equality of the citizens' rights and freedoms regardless of race, ethnicity, language, religion, and membership in social groups as well as all-round development of national cultures, languages and traditions of Kazakhstan peoples," he emphasized.
In this context the expert noted special importance of the Kazakh initiative on holding the Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions in our country.
