Accreditation to VI Astana Economic Forum and World Anti-Crisis Conference announced

ASTANA. April 3. KAZINFORM - Accreditation to the VI Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-Crisis Conference, to be held from 22 to 24 May 2013 in the Independence Palace and the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana, has been announced.

This forum is annually held on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and is recognized as the international meeting, bringing together the best minds to find solutions to the economic, financial and social challenges.

The forum will be attended by 8500 delegates from 100 countries, including heads of states and governments, prominent political and public figures, heads of international organizations and business corporations, leading researchers and Nobel Prize winners, as well as representatives of the world media. The agenda of the annual forum will focus on five main areas of the global economy: the outlook for global economic growth and commodity prices in 2013, infrastructure and innovation, international competitiveness and the social aspects of economic growth, financial systems, global risks and measures for their prevention.

In addition, the Forum will continue discussions of global leaders in the format of one-on-one interviews and TV debates of the world media.

Media representatives will be provided with services of Media City (the press room), fully equipped with all necessary office equipment and the Internet. Here they can get all the necessary information, press releases, if necessary, to interview participants or have a rest. Media City will be available at any time during the three-day forum.
