Abu Dhabi hosted reception devoted to Kazakhstan's Independence Day
ABU DHABI. December 16. KAZINFORM - On Sunday the Embassy of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held a reception on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Diplomatic reception in Abu Dhabi was attended by over five hundred guests, including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Political Affairs Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman and other officials of the Emirates, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and international organizations accredited in Abu Dhabi. Their compliments to the Republic of Kazakhstan have also expressed the representatives of Emirati businessmen and leading media, Kazakh community and Kazakhstani students.
In his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE Kairat Lama Sharif said that over the years of independence Kazakhstan confidently entered the market development and successfully integrated into the world community, in Kazakhstan's economy were invested 160 billion dollars of foreign investment, and the GDP of the young state increased sixteen times.
Numerous guests were introduced to the Arabic edition of the Embassy, which presents information on the implementation of the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan- 2050" Strategy: a new policy of the established state".
Taking the opportunity, Mr.Lama Sharif congratulated the Emirati side with the winning bid to host prestigious international exhibition "Expo-2020". According to the Kazakh diplomat, "particularly symbolic that two exhibitions - "Expo -2017 " in Astana and "EXPO-2020" in Dubai - will take place in our two friendly countries".
Folklore ensemble "Oral saz" of West Kazakhstan region, the winner of international competitions Bereke Enkebaeva and other entertainers have performed at the event.
