Above 800 int'l observers to monitor Kazakh Majilis elections

ASTANA. January 9. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Today, two hours before the official completion of the accreditation the Kazakh CEC has accredited, as advised by the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, another 30 international observers to monitor the snap elections to the Kazakh Majilis and regular elections to the maslikhats, scheduled for January 15, 2012.
Thus, 819 international observers have been accredited so far, as advised by the Kazakh MFA, from 8 international organizations and 29 foreign states. Besides, the Foreign Ministry accredited 118 representatives of foreign media to observe the forthcoming elections.
