About 60 festive events confined to the Victory Day to be held in Astana

5 major arrangements can be recognized as central ones: traditional ceremony of laying of Glory garlands and floral baskets to the grave of warriors died from wounds during the Great Patriotic war 1941-1945; solemn concert dedicated to the Victory Day; festival of military patriotic songs with the participation of young singers and on-stage performance groups; wreath-laying ceremony at "Otan Korgaushylar" monument, where a solemn reception will be organized in a tent camp for veterans, as well as a concert program consisting of songs of war years.

Besides, a traditional campaign will be held in Astana - "Destinies of heroes of the Great Victory", as part of which billboards with war veterans' portraits will be places in the streets of the capital.

Let us recall that on the Victory Day all veterans in Astana city will get one-time monetary aid in the amounts of 150 000 KZT; persons equal to participants and disabled war veterans - 20 000 KZT; widows of soldiers died at the war - 10 000 KZT; homefront workers - 10 000 KZT.
