About 4000 violations of Driving regulations detected by road patrol police in Astana since the start of the year
ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM - In Astana road patrol police officers detected 3 605 violations of the Driving regulations over 2 weeks of the new year 2014. This information was shared with astana.kz in the press service of the metropolitan Department of internal affairs.
"Overall 3 605 violations of the Driving regulations have been detected by the road patrol police officers of the DIA. 42 drivers were apprehended for driving under the influence of alcohol, 89 drivers - for overspeeding, 62 drivers were detected entering the oncoming lane, and 128 violators passed crossroads under the red light", - reports the agency.
Besides, 427 drivers were brought to administrative responsibility for unfastened seat belt; more than 400 pedestrians were punished for violation of the Driving regulations.
It's also worth noting that 1014 detected administrative violations were considered in a judicial proceeding. 256 people were brought to responsibility for violation of urban redevelopment rules, 141 people for smoking in inappropriate places, 380 violators - for drinking alcohol and being in a drunken condition, and 27 people according to the article "disorderly conduct".
