About 40 countries want to have trade relations with EEU

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - About 40 countries have expressed their willingness to have trade relations with the Customs Union since the moment of its establishment.

India, Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Israel are among those countries, Deputy Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Timur Zhaksylykov said at the CCS media briefing.

According to him, the cooperation is expected to be carried out on the preferential basis including establishment of zones of free trade.

"It demonstrates the potential of the unfolding integration process, its economic opportunities that will require consistent joint work from all state bodies and business entities over the next several decades," T. Zhaksylykov said.

The EEU member states will continue their work on holding the talks and concluding the agreements on free trade zones with Israel, India and Egypt during this year.
