About 120 employees of Center for Emergency Care to be sent to training in foreign countries
ASTANA. July 12. KAZINFORM The Republican Center for Emergency Care plans to send about 120 specialists and doctors to the world scientific medical institutions to train in 2012, Chairman of the Board of the Center Kenneth Alibek said in the interview for Pm.kz site.
"We have an opportunity to send from 100 to 120 people to training in foreign countries this year. These are not only doctors but also laboratorians and specialists of instrumental diagnosis," K. Alibek said.
Besides, the agreements on cooperation with medical centers of the University of Maryland in the sphere of training of traumatologists, the University Pittsburgh in the sphere of training of oncologists, radiologists were signed. The group of surgeons will be sent to St. Louis. Besides, master-classes with participation of foreign experts invited to Kazakhstan are held.
K. Alibek noted that in order to introduce highly specialized medical services we need specialists with high qualification. Now, there are many doctors of sciences, surgeons and therapists who participate in creation of new technologies working in the center.
"We conduct a lot of vascular operations such as implantation of special stent-grafts for patients having aortic aneurysm and the other abnormalities. We implant cardio stimulators for people with cardiomyopathy and heart rhythm disorders, we treat oncological diseases using different methods," the head of the Center said.
It should be noted that the Center receives grant financing from the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Healthcare for development of innovative methods of treatment.
