About 12,000 Kazakhstanis to get jobs at newly launched 80 industrial facilities - Prime Minister
ASTANA. December 21. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ About 12 thousand Kazakhstanis will get jobs at the 80 industrial facilities, which have been launched today, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said it on Tuesday, December 21.
The Premier reminded of the start of 294 projects totaling KZT 8 trillion within the framework of the national and regional industrialization maps. "About 200 thousand Kazakhstanis will be involved into the construction of these facilities, and more than 160 thousand permanent jobs will be created after their launch", K. Massimov noted.
He also informed that all necessary amendments to the legislation were made. "Due to it the share of domestic enterprises in the state procurements made more than 70 percent, i.e. over KZT 100 billion. The volume of purchases from domestic producers by subsoil users exceeded KZT 1.4 trillion", the Prime Minister said.
Mr. Massimov also pointed out the importance of small and medium businesses, "since industrialization can not be based only on big projects."
