Abel Sanchez named possible opponents for G. Golovkin

"There are several boxers we could name for the fight against Gennady Golovkin this May, they might not be the most attractive names but Golovkin should be in business. He is 32 now and when he fights next time he is going to turn 33. We plan to have four fights this year, and if top opponents are not available we don't mind arranging a bout against just good boxers. I could name three or four boxers who are often seen now and on the rise: Willie Monroe Jr, Tureano Johnson and third ranked boxer of the WBC Jorge Heiland from Argentina. In case they climb up the rankings they can have a chance for a fight against G. Golovkin. If they deserve the right, why not. If they refuse to fight against Gennady, the next boxer in the rankings will be given an opportunity," Sanchez said.

As earlier reported, Gennady Golovkin defended his title late in February winning the fight early against Martin Murray, in 11 th round.
