Abdol Reza Rahmani Fazli elected president of Economic Cooperation Organization of Supreme Audit Institution
ASTANA. October 13. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ President of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran Abdol Reza Rahmani Fazli was elected president of the Economic Cooperation Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions at the 5th Assembly of the Organization in Astana last week, the press service of the Accounts Committee for control over execution of the republican budget informs.
Chairman of the Audit Committee of Kazakhstan Omarkhan Oxikbayev had been the president of the Organization since October of 2007.
The participants of the Assembly discussed and summed up the results of the activity of the Organization for the last three years.
The participants also defined further policy of the Organization for the future. Besides, they shared the views on improving state financial control, increasing the effectiveness and ensuring transparency of public resource management. The participants also exchanged the experience in the sphere of state audit.
The 6th Assembly will be held in Tehran in 2013.
