Abay Kunanbayev books presented in Ankara

The event was attended by the Turkish public circles, parliamentarians, cultural statesmen, as well as representatives of the Kazakh community in Turkey. The books of the Kazakh poet, philosopher and educator - Abay Kunanbayev were translated and published in the Turkish language. There have been released two books, including "Words of edification" and a collection of the best works of the educator", the press release reads. The ceremony was attended by the former Turkish Culture Minister Namik Kemal Zeybek and Turkish MP Ozcan Enicheri who stressed the importance of the publication of the Kazakh classical literature in the Turkish language. Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuymebayev noted the outstanding contribution of the great writer in the development of a new worldview in society, education and philosophy.
