ASTANA. July 26. KAZINFORM Human Rights Commissioner Askar Shakirov has met with Regional Representative of the UN, High Commissioner on Human Rights in Central Asia Armen Harutyunyan in Astana today, the press service of the Ombudsman informs.
The sides pointed out the ongoing productive cooperation of their institutes and discussed the issues regarding interaction in addressing human rights problems and accession of Kazakhstan into international human rights organizations.
The interlocutors expressed their confidence in necessity of further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in human rights sphere.
