A new airport close to Astana

ASTANA. February 8. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ "A new airport of Astana city will be built at a distance of 30-35 km from Astana city," head of the municipal transport department of the Scientific Research Design Institute of the Astana Master Plan Aidar Rakhim told.
Thereat, the running international airport will keep on functioning and receiving domestic flights. The new one will accommodate international flights.
Besides, according to the revised master plan a new passenger terminal will be built.
