Four masked gunmen stormed the store in the morning, threw one store employee to the ground, and ordered others to lie down on the floor while they smashed the display cases, the source said.

The store manager, however, managed to alert the police. The robbers were just leaving in a car when a patrol wagon arrived on the scene and went in pursuit.

The pursuit was later called off for "reasons of proportionality," according to police statement, as the robbers' car was rampaging through the street. It was found several minutes later in a backyard, but the robbers had fled.
