92% of Kazakhstan population enumerated

ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM. /Kurmat Samarkhan/ According to the preliminary data as of March 4, 2009, 14 million 421 thousand people that is 92% of Kazakhstan population have already been enumerated within the National Census. Press Secretary of the Statistics Agency Dinara Zhandayeva has informed about it at a briefing today.
According to D. Zhandayeva, citizens of Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Karaganda and Atyrau regions took the most active part in the census.
In Astana the census has already covered 524 600 people, in Almaty ? 1 168 900 people.
