805 new kindergartens opened in Kazakhstan in 2009

ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ The number of kindergartens in Kazakhstan increased by 805 facilities in 2009. Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has informed about it at the Ministry's board meeting today.
144 kindergartens and 661 mini-centers for 22,000 children were put into operation this year.
"Over the last 2 months the coverage of children by preschool education increased from 37 to 38.7 pre cent", the Minister noted.
