80-year-old man detained for drug dealing

ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM Police have caught a 80-year-old drug dealer in Atbasar, Akmola region. As it turned out, the pensioner decided in such a way to keep the family business going as his two daughters are jailed for drug offenses, the press service of the Akmola region department of internal affairs said.
He was detained moments after he sold heroin up to 1.7 grams. The total weight of drugs withdrawn made 145.42 grams. A criminal case is initiated. The convict could be sentenced to 15 years, the message reads.
