ASTANA. February 21. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ 8 large scale sports events will be held in Kazakhstan this year. Chairman of the Sports Committee of Kazakhstan Y. Kanagatov said it at the session of the board of the Tourism and Sport Ministry of Kazakhstan today.
He told those meetings are called to develop mass sports. Thus, 2011 is the year to host the 3rd Summer Olympics in 46 sports, Paralympics, National Olympics among civil servants, a festival of national sports, a National Olympics among media in honor of Berdykulov, youth winter sports, etc.
