8,279,679 (89.99%) voted in 2011 Kazakh presidential elections - CEC

ASTANA. April 5. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Voter turnout in the Kazakh presidential elections was 8,279,679 people, as a percentage it made 89.99%. Chairman of the Central Election Commission Kuandyk Turgankulov announced it at a briefing upon the results of the snap presidential elections.
"We have received all the protocols of election commissions, which made it possible to sum up final results. 8,279,679 ballots were cast," Turgankulov noted.
