79 candidates nominated to Senate - CEC

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 79 candidates have been nominated to the Senate of Kazakhstan Parliament, this was announced at a press briefing by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Vladimir Fous.
"As of August 8, seventy nine candidates run for the Senate deputies seats (14 registered to Maslikhats, 65 self-nominated). Among the nominees 4 women, 4 out of 79 candidates are serving deputies of the Senate", said Vladimir Fous. According to his words, the serving Senators, nominated to the Senate deputies are: S. Yesengenov - from Atyrau region, S. Plotnikov - from East Kazakhstan region, E.Mukayev - from West Kazakhstan region, M.Bortnik - from Mangystau region.
