74 Russian children sick with food poisoning in Ukraine

KIEV. July 13. KAZINFORM Seventy-four Russian children have been hospitalized with food poisoning symptoms at a Ukrainian summer camp, officials said Wednesday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

As of 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), eight children were in slightly weak condition, and the others were stable, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry said the children, two of their supervisors and nine Ukrainian Young Pioneer leaders became sick Tuesday evening after eating poorly prepared food in a summer camp cafeteria in the southern village of Lubimivka, near the city of Sevastopol; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
