7 people drowned in one day in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM A 18-year-old man drowned while swimming in the Ural River on June 10, in Atyrau region. 4 rescuers and 1 unit of the rescue service equipment pulled his body out of the water, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies reported.
A 20-year-old man drowned the same day while bathing in Kostanay region. His body was removed from the water by locals.
Three more cases occurred in North Kazakhstan region. Two 34-years-old men and a man born in 1981 drowned in the Ishim River. Their bodies were pulled out of the water by rescuers (16 people and 5 unites of the rescue service equipment).
A 35-year-old woman drowned while swimming in the Tobol River on Sunday in Kostanay region. Locals removed her body from the river.
Another accident happened on June 9 in South Kazakhstan region. A 48-year-old man drowned in a channel. Locals pulled the body out of the water.
June 10 a man, 1981, drowned in an artificial lake in Talgar town of Almaty region. The search for the body continues.
