7 Investment Projects worth 22 billion tenge to be implemented in Zhambyl
TARAZ. January 27. KAZINFORM - In 2014 in Zhambyl region seven objects will be put into operation under the Industrialization Map, said the Akim of Zhambyl region Karim Kokrekbayev.
"In 2014 there wil be implemented seven investment projects worth KZT 22 billion. This will create 866 new jobs", said K.Kokrekbayev.
Among the new facilities being built in the region is a gypsum plant "Zhambylgips", "Araystroymarket" radiators miniplant, "BinomStroyDetal" house-building factory, ''TalasInvestmentCompany'' sodium cyanide production plant, ''CentralAsiaGoldProduction'' precious metals alloy production plant and a high-tech production of Halal standard meat packing "Ontustik Halal Tagamdary". In addition, in Kordai area a new wind power plant has being built by ''VistaInternational'' company.
Within the period of 2015 - 2018 it is planned to implement six investment projects worth KZT 429.9 billion which will create more than three thousand new jobs. That will be the second phase of diversification and expansion of ferroalloys production and resource base of Taraz Metallurgical Plant, construction of dry construction mixtures, aggregates and gypsum of ''AlinaHolding'', the production of glyphosate ("United Chemical Company"), mining and processing of barite ore ("KazBarit"), reconstruction of fish processing plant (the company called "Meng-Aral"). In the town of Karatau "EuroChem Fertilizers" company will construct a chemical plant producing mineral fertilizers.
"The President gave instructions to the Government on drafting the second Five-Year Plan for the Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development 2016-2019. Thus, in 2013 under the Industrialization Map there were commissioned eight projects which created 626 new jobs", said the head of the region.
