WASHINGTON. June 24. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted Fox Islands, Aleutian Islands, Alaska at 0310 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The quake struck at a depth of 40 km in the Pacific Ocean 172 km east of Atka, Alaska, the USGS said. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
