6 people died in road accident in Karaganda region
KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - A criminal case into the road accident involving a bus and a truck in Karaganda region has been brought, the press service of the department for emergencies of the region informs.
"The investigation of the road incident that happened on the Karaganda-Balkhash road with the participation of a bus and a truck is being carried out. The accident caused several deaths," the statement reads.
As it was informed, the head-on crash of the bus and KamAZ happened in the evening on March 2 on the Karaganda-Balkhash road. There were 15 passengers in the bus. As a result of the accident, 6 people died: both drivers, three bus passengers and one KamAZ passenger. A two-year old child is among those who lost lives in the accident.
9 people were also taken to hospital with different types of injuries. One woman is now in an intensive care unit in Karaganda.
