6.9-magnitude quake hits Solomon Islands -- USGS

SYDNEY. April 23. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale jolted Solomon Islands at 0423 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 98.00 km, was initially determined to be at 10.4450 degrees south latitude and 161.4199 degrees east longitude, Kazinform refers to Xinhuanet.
