SUVA. July 29. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 0742 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 556.50 km, was initially determined to be at 23.5910 degrees south latitude and 179.8910 degrees west longitude. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
