6.6-magnitude earthquake jolts Russia

BEIJING. October 14. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted Russia at 2:10 pm Beijing Time Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC); Kazinform refers to China Daily.
The epicenter was monitored at 54.2 degrees north latitude and 123.7 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers, the center said.
The US Geological Survey said it was a 5.9-magnitude earthquake with the epicenter to be 13.8-km deep; Kazinform cites China Daily.
