6.0-magnitude quake hits off east coast of Honshu

BEIJING. may 24. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter Scale hit the sea off the east coast of Honshu in Japan at 11:40 am Beijing Time Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center; Kazinform refers to China Daily.
The epicenter was monitored at 39.8 degrees north latitude and 143.2 degrees east longitude with a depth of 30 km, the center said; Kazinform cites China Daily.
