5115 veterans will receive greetings and New Year gift sets on behalf of the President

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In the coming 2015 we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In addition, 2015 is declared in the CIS as the Year of veterans.
From 26 to 30 December 2014 an unprecedented national campaign in support veterans will be carried out across the country.
Each war veteran (there are 5115 veterans live in Kazakhstan) living in the country will be visited by Governors of regions, cities and districts. On the behalf of the Head of State the veterans will receive greetings and New Year gift sets.
In addition, at the request of the President of Kazakhstan there have been approved a special plan of activities to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
