50 evacuated as fire breaks out in nine-storey house in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM A fire broke out today afternoon at the nine-storey residential house in Astana, the emergency situations department said.
Fire spread quickly along the electric cable at the cable shaft stretching out from the second to ninth floor. As a result, 18 people, including five kids were rescued and 50 were evacuated. The fire was put out in half an hour.
