5 people drowned, 2 of them children, in last 24 hours in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM 5 People drowned in the water basins of Kazakhstan, two of them are children,' the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situation of Kazakhstan informs.

On Wednesday, June 29, a 19-year-old man drowned in the Ural River in Atyrau. His body was recovered in 25 minutes by the water rescue services of Atyrau region.

On the same day a 10-year-old girl drowned in the Talas River in Taraz. Her body was recovered in an hour by the locals.

In Petropavlovsk, a 9-year-old boy drowned while swimming in the Ishim River. The body was recovered by the water rescue services in one and a half hours.

Another 19-year-old man drowned when swimming in the Sherubai-Nura River in Shakhtinsk town of Karaganda region. The locals recovered the body in an hour.

In the same region, in Zheskazgan town a 47-year-old man drowned in Kengir Reservoir. In an hour the body was recovered from water by the water rescue services team of the region.
