5 parks and 25 mini-parks planted in Astana for three years

ASTANA. September 18. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ 5 parks and 25 mini-parks have been planted for three years of holding voluntary Saturday clean-up work events in Astana, Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov said during the neighborhood clean-up even.
'More than 10 thousand trees and more than 3 thousand shrubs have been planted in the city for three years', the Mayor said.
Mr. Tasmagambetov noted that every citizen contributes a mite going out for helping to keep the city clean.
Today the clean-up the city event is held in the capital. According to the preliminary data around 65 thousand citizens and employees of 2983 organizations and companies are involved in the event. It is planned to plant 4195 trees and shrubs today.
