5 mln ha of unused agricultural land revealed in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - According to inventory results 5 million hectares of unused agricultural land have been revealed in Kazakhstan.
This information was voiced at today's briefing in Central Communications Service by the deputy Minister of National Economy Kaiyrbek Uskenbayev. Vice-Minister said that since 2012 an inventory of agricultural land amounting to more than 96 million hectares has been conducted. More than 30 million hectares of land has been checked per one year. He also added that the process of land acquisition in the Republic of Kazakhstan is rather complicated.
