5 killed, 8 injured in road accident - E Kazakhstan

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM A road-traffic accident on Semey-Glukhovka highway killed 5 and injured 8 people, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry informs.
The accident occurred yesterday evening in the East Kazakhstan region on the 6km of Semey-Glukhovka highway as UAZ and VAZ cars smashed into each other.
"As a result, both drivers, the passengers of VAZ and two children aged 6 months and 4 years died on the spot. A girl, 2, died in a hospital" a press release reads.
8 more passengers were hospitalized.
