TOKYO. July 5. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted near the south coast of western Honshu, Japan at 7:18 p.m. local time, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 15.00 km, was initially determined to be at 34.0198 degrees north latitude and 135.1963 degrees east longitude. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
